Old vs. New Satanism

 

1.Satan is the only God of worship in the old. In the new, the use of many gods is present.

2.In the old, bowing to Satan shows respect. In the new there is no respect and magic is used for selfish gain.

3.The dark forces are used in the old. New Satanism uses whomever will help out.

4.In the old, you do magic whenever it is needed and desired with midnight being the strongest hour for magic. In the new, the timing of magic is more constrained as far as moon, planetary, hourly, and daily phases.

5.The full moon is the moon for new beginnings and along with other special moons such as the blue moon or the blood moon are the only moons used in the old. In the new, all waxing, waning, black and full moon phases are used.

6.In the old, if you have nothing you use only yourself in casting magic and worshiping. In the new, the use of specific ritual items and other specific things are used. Which is fine but too much dependency on the object can occur.

7.In the old, joining a coven is encouraged, if not possible individuality is fine. The new believes only in individuality.

8.The day of worship is between Friday and Saturday at midnight in the old. In the new, it uses all the days of the week depending on what is needed to be done.

9.Old Satanism uses intense celebration in honor of Satan Depending on thecoven High Priest in the new, he or she can prohibit this.
 

10.Old Satanism believes in the knowledge of the supernatural and spiritual. The

new attempts to explain the supernatural and spiritual using Science.
 

11.The old does not use things such as Vampires, Goblins ect. The new has the audacity to include aliens and other beings not of Satanism yet still calls it Satanism.

12.In the old, we worship and practice magic so we can become like a god. However in the new they believe that they are Gods.

13.The new Satanism is basically another form of witchcraft with no worshiping nor commitment to the right or to a particular God, while the old is more of a worship of the right God while using sorcery to give him homage and do his bidding.

 

These and more are differences between old school and new school. True Satanism is the worship of Satan.
