Cleansing and Protection before spells!

Ok dears, it amazes me how many do not know this, let me tell you now, no matter what people tell you, in all forms of magic, always always always do a cleansing and protection first!! It can be just as simple as asking your chosen deity(s) or whatever to come protect and keep the area free from unwanted influences to something that has more action like doing the above and saging and smudging the area. It is so important to do this because you could be letting in things that you do not want not only in your spell but also in your space!! Great example, doing a divination spell with an ouija board, we all know the story here, now just imagine you let something in and you cannot get rid of it because you forgotten to do a cleaning and protection first? Now not only may you have something negative messing with you but it just is not a pleasant experience if you dont know what you are dealing with. See why this is so important now?
